expectativa baixa... o lugar é normal, nada aconchegante, estrutura simples, pra você fazer aquelela refeição no seu horário de almoço e voltar ao trabalho. Embora eu tenha vindo sem pressa. O cheiro do ambiente já dá uma aquecida no coração. Pedi um Chicken Tikka Massala, um menu executivo honestíssimo a 39 reais. Quando peguei o pão feito no forno tandoori, mergulhei no molho e comi, foi uma emoção que só. Dá pra sentir no molho as especiarias e a paixão de quem faz o prato. O que o lugar não tem de aconchego, a comida tem de sobra, te abraça e deixa seu dia mais feliz. Voltarei com certeza.
 I need to comment, because I came with the
low expectations... the place is normal, not cozy, simple structure, for you to have that meal at lunch time and go back to work. Although I came unhurriedly. The smell of the environment already warms the heart. I ordered a Chicken Tikka Massala, a very honest executive menu at 39 reais. When I took the bread made in the tandoori oven, dipped it in the sauce and ate it, it was just a thrill. You can feel the spices and passion of those who make the dish in the sauce. What the place doesn't have in terms of coziness, the food has plenty of it, hugs you and makes your day happier. I will come back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eu e minha namorada somos fanáticos por comida indiana e temos certa experiência comendo em diversos restaurantes indianos no Brasil e em outros países. O Laxmi não é ruim, mas também não é muito bom pelo preço que custa. Comparado a ele, existem opções de melhor custo-benefício em São Paulo. O restaurante Royal no centro de SP não só é gostoso, como é consideravelmente mais barato que o Laxmi, sendo a nossa recomendação número um. O Bawarchi e o Reet Namastê são ambos da mesma faixa de preço que o Laxmi, porém com comida mais saborosa.
Nada contra o Laxmi, apenas existem opções mais vantajosas na cidade, em nossa opinião.
My girlfriend and I are Indian food fanatics and we have some experience eating in several Indian restaurants in Brazil and other countries. Laxmi isn't bad, but it's also not very good for the price it costs. Compared to it, there are more cost-effective options in São Paulo. The Royal restaurant in downtown SP is not only tasty, it's considerably cheaper than Laxmi, which is our number one recommendation. Bawarchi and Reet Namaste are both in the same price range as Laxmi, but with tastier food.
Nothing against Laxmi, there are only more advantageous options in town, in our opinion.

It was the best I ever had.The flavours were sublime and the portion size was generous.I could not eat it all and they kindly packed what I left into boxes to take home.The restaurant is simple but their food is excellent.The prices are a bit higher than local food but this is understandable because of the richness of spices and exotic ingredients and I imagine in such a good location that the rent is super high. Many options even for vegetarians.The gentleman who served me was very kind.I recommend this restaurant. 5 stars from an Irish man. - Comida indiana muito boa, preparada e servida por índios. Provei samosas e rogan josh de cordeiro com arroz basmati. Foi o melhor que já tive. Os sabores eram sublimes e o tamanho da porção era generoso. Não pude comer tudo e eles gentilmente empacotaram o que eu deixei em caixas para levar para casa. O restaurante é simples, mas a comida é excelente. os preços são um pouco mais altos do que os da comida local, mas isso é compreensível devido à riqueza de especiarias e ingredientes exóticos. Muitas opções até para vegetarianos.O cavalheiro que me vendeu foi muito gentil. Eu recomendo este restaurante. 5 estrelas de um irlandês.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great surprise! Hidden inside an old mall, this is a culinary gem! Authentic flavours. Spicy food, but not “melt your tongue” spicy. We had the coconut chicken and mutton rice. Coconut chicken was hot - chicken was super juicy and tender. Mutton rice was also outstanding. Naan, just with butter, and the samosas are also a nice addition!
