★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best bookstore in town. Not a huge store, but it has what a bookstore needs to have: books. Lots of them, of all kinds, well curated and organized. Don't waste your time in that other, more famous, Paulista bookstore - this is the place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As usual, a pleasure to visit this book shop. Millions of titles available, helpful staff. Prices are the same as the competitors. Too bad book offer in other languages has almost disappeared. Great café upstairs, though small.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was nice with a lot of books, good chairs to have a chat and a coffee shop. Then child beggars were allowed in and were approaching everybody to ask for money money in exchange for some gum. This completely ruined the mood, instilled a feeling of insecurity and on top of that some of the staff were buying the gums from the kids, thus encouraging them not only to come back often but also to continue approaching more people inside of the store. Very unpleasant, made us leave immediately.

What a bookstore, what an immense choice of books, what competent persons working there. Even found books I was looking after for several years and other bookstores just told me they were sold out.
