★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indiquei a maternidade pra uma amiga, chegando lá o porteiro altamente ignorante, sem um pingo de sensibilidade com a gestante e acompanhantes... Triste demais a situação, um momento que é pra ser lindo e tranquilo pra mãe, foi dessa forma. Péssimo atendimento.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tive bebê na maternidade em 19 outubro de 2021. Moro em Timon MA e me desloquei para essa maternidade em Teresina. Fui muito bem recebida desde a entrada, forneci meu endereço em TIMON e fui muito bem acolhida, fiz todos os exames e passei por um parto cesária muito respeitoso. Após o parto incentivam muito a amamentação, ajudam com orientações quanto a pega correta do bebê. Informação lá e ajuda é o que não faltam, chega a ser demais até.Nunca esquecerei da nutricionista Dra. Ruth, ali sim é o reflexo de quando a pessoa faz o que gosta. Quando eu precisei ir lá após o parto para fazer exames do neném, ao chegar na portaria é como se lá fosse a minha casa, sinto uma sensação muito boa, principalmente de gratidão.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A maternidade tem Centro de Parto Normal, com quartos individuais adaptados para o parto, com bola, cavalinho, banheiro com chuveiro de água morna, tem o bebê dentro do quarto mesmo, ele fica junto com a mãe todo momento.
A instituição é adepta ao programa da Rede cegonha que visa humanizar a assistência ao nascimento. Tem uma equipe mais paciente, composta tbm por enfermeiras obstétricas que são competentes e sensíveis nessa assistência à mãe e bebê.
A mulher pode entrar com seu acompanhante e doula (a maternidade não tem doula, a mulher tem q levar a sua) para ter esse apoio emocional, técnicas de alívio da dor, suporte para uma melhor experiência, parto mais rápido e tranquilo.
Perde 1 estrela no quesito Centro cirúrgico que quando precisa de cesárea, geralmente, o tratamento não é tão sensível quanto no centro de parto normal, é algo mais frio e automático (infelizmente, como é em muitas outras instituições), então a mulher precisa se informar para questionar seus direitos (ter a doula ajuda nisso tbm).
Depois do parto, são transferidas para a enfermaria onde ficam até ter alta. É alojamento conjunto mas tem divisórias de pano q garante uma privacidade, tem poltrona pro acompanhante e armário.
