Pela importância de Castro Alves, a praça está desleixada, carecendo de melhoria físicas no piso de calçada portuguesa, no entanto oferece estacionamento próximo e é fácil deslocar para qualquer região.
The monument is in a privileged location, with a beautiful view of Bahia de Todos os Santos and the Marina, between the historic center and the commercial center of Salvador. Due to the importance of Castro Alves, the square is sloppy, lacking physical improvements on the Portuguese pavement floor, however it offers close parking and it is easy to move to any region.
