This is the best public college in the entire state of Tocantins. For those who are not financially able to put their children in a private school, this college is the best option available.

I completed all my high school at CMTO, and here I will comment on the positive and negative points that I could see during these 3 years inside: ------Strengths: > Most of the teachers, with whom I had classes, are excellent. They manage to captivate the student with dynamic and interesting classes, managing to make interesting even the most boring subjects. > In fact, there is a higher level of discipline within the school. This is good because it makes the school an environment where parents can be more relaxed in leaving their children since this discipline serves as a kind of "filter" that causes fewer students to be involved in illegal activities. ------Negative points: > There is a GREAT lack of communication on the part of the military with students and teachers. Personally, this is the part that bothered me the most in this school and, so that no one says that the problem is me, I have heard this same complaint coming from several students and teachers (practically all the teachers with whom I had classes have come to complain on this point). This is a critical problem within this school and one that has, many times, come to harm students and teachers. > The school does not accept criticism. Several times we heard the military saying "we can solve everything in the conversation", but it never works that way. ABSOLUTELY any criticism that a student makes at school, they respond with "Didn't like it? Change schools. This is the military college.". In fact, I understand that there is a military school and that certain things, no matter how much they bother some students, cannot change. The problem is that they give this answer to any criticism, regardless of whether or not it is associated with an intrinsic characteristic of military schools. > There is a very large segregation between military and students. Fact. ------ Final considerations I recommend this school to those who don't care about the military by creating rules and scolding without, in fact, living with students or at least trying to understand their point of view. I believe that the school has the potential to improve A LOT, but it depends 80% on the goodwill of the military. Most of his problems are due to the lack of communication. If this had been resolved, my grade at school would certainly not have been this one. I want to make it clear that my criticism here is not about the school's military system, but rather the way in which it is being implemented.
