★ ★ ★ ★ ★ É um resquício de mata nativa às margens do rio Pitimbu, uma zona de proteção ambiental constantemente ameaçada pelos empreendimentos imobiliários. Eu, assim como muitos natalenses, passamos a infância tomando banho no rio, que hoje encontra-se poluído e assoreado, prejudicando o abastecimento de água em Natal. Mas ainda é tempo de recuperar o rio e suas margens, basta boa vontade, união e bom senso por parte de todos.
 It is a remnant of native forest on the banks of the Pitimbu River, an area of environmental protection constantly threatened by real estate ventures. I, like many Natalenses, spend their childhood bathing in the river, which today is polluted and silted, damaging the water supply in Natal. But it is still time to recover the river and its banks, just good will, unity and common sense on the part of all.
