★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Em primeiro lugar: há que se ressaltar que a trilha não é a "mais fácil de ser percorrida na cidade de Petrópolis" conforme placa indicativa no início da trilha; em segundo lugar: a trilha não é sinalizada, ao contrário do divulgado pela prefeitura, sendo a única sinalização a placa supracitada; em terceiro lugar: a trilha não possui 1.500 metros de acordo com o escrito na placa, e sim, 900 metros, chegando em 35 minutos com paradas para descanso. Fora esses pontos, a trilha é de dificuldade moderada a difícil, bem íngreme, o chão é bem desregular, tendo que em determinados trechos pisar em pontas de pedras e raízes. Aproximadamente na metade do trilha, o chão é de areia pura bem fininha, do tipo escorregadia. Por fim, chegando ao topo, a vista é bem bonita, o pôr do sol espetacular, além de ser possível avistar a baixada, Rio, Castelinho, e outras cadeias montanhosas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A trilha costuma levar uns 50 minutos de caminhada, com trechos com uma dificuldade moderada mas nada que não seja impossível de superar! A vista no alto da pedra do cortiço permiti avistar desde o Parque Nacional da Serra dos Órgãos até o Rio de Janeiro! Vale a pena subir bem cedinho pra poder achar um lugar legal pra contemplar a vista, melhor ainda se tiver um cafezinho! "Não jogue lixo na natureza"
The trail usually takes about 50 minutes of walking, with sections with moderate difficulty but nothing that is not impossible to overcome! The view from the top of the tenement stone allowed us to see from the Serra dos Órgãos National Park to Rio de Janeiro! It is worth climbing early in order to find a nice place to contemplate the view, even better if you have a cup of coffee! "Do not throw garbage in nature"

Trilha muito boa, visual lindo demais, como tem chuvido muito nessa região, tem que ter cuidado, alguns pontos são escorregadios, em média feita em 30 minutos. 80% dela é coberta por árvores, porém não tem pontos de água.
Obs: Aconselho quem for levar crianças pequenas, ter atenção, pois a parte voltada para cidade é um paredão de pedra vertical e sem vegetação (queda livre).

Trail Sunday at Pedra do Cortiço in Petrópolis. I had the privilege of taking my little boy to climb his first Pico.⛰

Very good trail, beautiful view, as it has been raining a lot in this region, you have to be careful, some spots are slippery, on average done in 30 minutes. 80% of it is covered by trees, but has no water points.
Note: I advise anyone taking small children to be careful, as the part facing the city is a vertical stone wall without vegetation (free fall).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, 30-40 minute moderate difficulty hike with a gorgeous view over the mountains of Petrópolis and the City of Rio de Janeiro, including the Sugar Loaf as well as Christ the Redeemer when the atmosphere is clear. The starting point of the trail is unmarked among the tall grass to the left side of incoming traffic, in the middle of a curve. It might be difficult to find if you've never been there but asking around might work, since almost every local in the area knows where it is. The trail itself its unmarked but fairly obvious, just take the way up on the very few bifurcations on the way.
