★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've spent five days there and it was really cool. The common spaces ar,e great, really peaceful and well furnished. You really feel a good vibe during your stay, and the staff is helpful (and speak english).
Only drawback you only have a 3mb wifi connection which is a bit bumpy. Ok to check your mail but not perfect if you wanna work. The surroundings of paraty are incredible so it's not a big issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning pousada, very well decorated and spacious with a nice, outside pool and (covered) bar area. The staff are friendly and attentive. The room we had was spacious with a nice, large, king size bed. Good quality bed linen, fluffly towels and good toiletries. The air con is nice and potent too. Breakfast is fabulous, with various options and you can request fresh eggs/omelettes/tapiocas and freshly brewed coffee, espresso or capuccino. The location of the pousada is also very central, in the old city center, close to the main square (Praça da Matriz) and offers private parking. Will definitely come back! ♡

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really cool atmosphere. The staff was helpful and spoke English. Went fishing and cruising with Pablo Rosar. Really nice took us to a couple nice places to swim. Caught a couple small fish. Nothing to write home about but would definitely recommend the staff and Pablo to a friend. Beautiful city to walk around although watch your step as the cobble stone streets are somewhat treacherous. They use tide waters to wash the streets it only happens once maybe 2 months but wouldn’t want to be around during that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely historic pousada with a great location right next door to the royal residence.
We had a room across the road from the main building. Our room was only ok - the room was VERY noisy because of a air conditioning unit in the nextdoor room.
Overall i thought this hotel was good value. Maybe next time I would have got a room in the main building.
The staff were very accommodating and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a lovely pousada! Really friendly staff who speak English very well. Everything is right about this pousada. Rooms are comfortable, lots of public space to relax and an amazing pool with sunbeds. The whole place is maintained very well and looks amazing! Just everything you hope to find in a pousada. Despite checkin time being 2pm, they made sure our room was ready at 10am when we arrived. An example of how they will make sure you'll have the best enjoyable stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fantastic place. It was a real travel in time. The pool and adjoining bar with classic pool table reminded My wife and I of the old world. We had a wonderful time here. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. The food was absolutely delicious. Much of the staff spoke English. The rooms were very clean. Pretty good value for the money too. Highly recommend ouro !!!!!!

Rooms are clean and spacious.
Amenities are great; includes pool and sauna, bar and restaurant.
Breakfast is usually included with your stay and easy to communicate with the front desk via whatsapp.
