★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking for a perfect trip around the Island? Renan and his team are the best ones!! We did the "Volta à Ilha= Whole Island Tour" and the "Ilhas Paradisíacas = Paradise Islands Tour" with Renan(Tour Agent)and André (Pilot). They're amazingly friendly and very responsible, making you feel safe and comfortable! Excellent service! Highly recommend them!
Tip: don't need to bring your GoPro, you can ask Debora (in front of Renan's place) and she can hire one for you for a reasonable price! Thanks guys!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Renan in reception was brilliant! He was extremely helpful and organized a trip snorkeling for us! The view at breakfast was breathtaking. Enjoyed every minute of the trip and was sad to leave!. Negative: Small gap under the door which allowed some tiny crabs to venture into the room!.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The location is perfect just like 80m from the main Pier and the staff is really helpful and friendly. We could even take a shower after we checked out already and spend the day at the beach before departing towards Paraty.. Negative: If you can - I would prefer the next time to stay near the garden - not in the front... Shower in Room 1 need some fixing... door did not closed and open easy! During the weekend - starting Friday evening - the "street" in front of the hotel is really busy and the restaurant above the place is getting busy as well!.

Negative: I booked this pousada that was a bit more expensive than others because of location and breakfast but was not worth it for breakfast. Very poor, there is no variety and also some products are in bad condition such as fruit and milk out of date..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The Pousada has simple rooms but everything you need is there. The breakfast is good and you have a nice few to the beach. We had some rainy days but with some chairs and hammocks everyone can use that was no problem. The service was very good and the receptionist could speak english and suggested us a lot of hiking trails and restaurants.. Negative: The air conditioning was very loud. We were a little afraid that the fan might fall down..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very basic and overpriced. In the room there was no desk or chair. When there was a blackout in the town, the pousada must have had no backup generator as the power went out.
EDIT: The owner has replied to say the blackout was due to heavy rains. There were no heavy rains on the island during my stay. This power out only lasted one night, most other establishments appeared to have a back-up generator
