O Pontal é uma jóia do litoral Sul de Alagoas, tem uma das praias mais lindas do Brasil. Em tempos de festa fica repleta de brinquedos de parque, barracas e luzes. Em dias normais, pode-se tomar uma cerveja no barzinho ao lado.
 It is the square of the fishing community of Pontal de Coruripe. Nice place to watch TV with the locals, enjoy the night and go out. Pontal is a jewel of the southern coast of Alagoas, has one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. At party times it is full of park toys, tents and lights. On normal days, you can have a beer in the bar next door.
