★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Praça com bastante árvores, proporcionando ótimas sombras e cercada por ótimas paisagens. Sua vista da frente, da para ver a passagem da barca quando chega e sai da Ilha de Paquetá. Além de poder visualizar parte de São Gonçalo, Itaoca e o antigo Farol da Mesbla na Ilha.
No centro da praça se encontra um busto em homenagem ao descobridor da Ilha de Paquetá, o cosmógrafo André Thévet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Praça mal conservada, cheia de mato e lixo. Os guias turísticos nem contemplam essa praça da Ilha de Paquetá. Só a vista do mar é bonita.
