★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uma das casas de mates mais tradicionais do Rio de Janeiro. Lá também se encontram sucos e diversos açaís assim como cafés. Mesmo doce gosto do Mate Suíço, que é mate com suco e leite condensado -- peço o meu com menos deste último ingrediente.
O único ponto baixo é o valor alto dos salgados, em especial o pão de queijo.
One of the most traditional matte houses in Rio de Janeiro. There you can also find juices and several açaí as well as coffees. Even the sweet taste of Swiss Mate, which is matte with juice and condensed milk - I order mine with less of the latter ingredient.
The only low point is the high value of the snacks, especially the cheese bread.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tem um pão de queijo imbatível, sanduíches ótimos (prefiro os "tosts", com pão de batata e recheios variados), além da "bomba energética", que é uma mistura de açaí, mate e guaraná. Ótimo pra dar aquela energia extra. Só o mate puro não é o meu preferido. Gosto do atendimento, as pessoas são sempre gentis e eficientes. Passou por renovação, e ficou bem interessante, com espaço para mais mesas. Pena que a necessidade de distanciamento social ainda não permita usufrui-las. Muito boa localização, com bastante transporte público disponível.
It has an unbeatable cheese bread, great sandwiches (I prefer the "tosts", with potato bread and various fillings), as well as the "energy bomb", which is a mixture of açaí, mate and guarana. Great for giving that extra energy. Only the pure mate is not my favorite. I like the service, people are always kind and efficient. It underwent renovation, and was very interesting, with space for more tables. It is a pity that the need for social distancing does not yet allow us to enjoy them. Very good location, with plenty of public transport available.
