★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very loud hotel. we heard a party somewhere around until well after midnight, followed by opening/closing doors all night long (bad accoustic insulation). If you actually plan to sleep than better avoid this hotel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing hotel! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. As a titanium member they had my room ready early. The lounge was great with a variety of drinks and food. Probably the best hotel gym I’ve ever seen. I would highly recommend this hotel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a 5-star hotel by international standards. Very high pricing when compared to other top hotels in São Paulo. Billing errors very annoying. Unfortunately Marriott has very few hotel options in Brazil.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel, clean rooms, comfortable beds which you would expect from the Marriott group. The front desk staff are excellent and speak very good English. They bend over backwards to help with questions and directions. Used the spa while I was here for 4 nights. Very nice!!! The pool is disappointing as it only gets sun for a few hours and is near the street so lots of street noise. The absolute best thing about this hotel is the lounge on the 23rd floor. Book a room or suite with access and you won’t be disappointed. Great views, very spacious, food, drinks, alcohol, Champaign served daily. Again friendly staff who get to know your face and will bring you a drink straight away, even though it’s mostly self-serve.
Do some research about what is around. Even though the area around the hotel seems a tad rough, there’s actually a lot of good restaurants (Fogo de Chow) and shops everywhere within a few blocks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even the Madison room is not so big per American standard. Service is great. The breakfast place on lobby has one of the best decor I have seen in a Renaissance, while the club lounge has fantastic view of Sao Paolo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only about the brunch: one of the best in SP. The best cost-benefit relation. Full range of savory and sweet food, plus different beverages, including champagne. They also offer some small dishes as a kind of lunch, all very good. It is really worthy it.
