★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very traditional Chinese restaurant in Rio. Recall going there as a kid with my father, and then just the other day decided to go there. The caipirinha was great, the spring rolls too, and all dishes ordered was just as it used to be. Price is pretty reasonable for what we ate as it had seafood. The only thing is that it needs a minor overhaul here and there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was really looking forward to Chinese food after travelling for weeks and missing my comfort food. Did my research online and decided on Chon Kou after reading positive reviews. Was a little apprehensive when I noticed there wasn't any Asian staff but still decided to give it a go. Food was not cheap but pretty tasty albeit a little salty. But still better quality than a lot of Chinese food I have tasted in non-Asian countries. Highly recommend Pork fried rice and Beef chop suey. Unfortunately my all-time favourite dish - sweet&sour pork was way too doughy. Very satisfied with service!
