★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pricy but nice. Fresh fish meat, good sushi bar, and menu plenty of options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The self-service, all you can eat buffet on weekends is a good choice if you want to eat a lot. Food quality is fair. If you don't want to eat a lot, you have the option of choosing to pay per kilo as well. Desserts are included in both options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The quality of the food is definitely good. But service level and ambience are very inconsistent with the price they charge. It is so dark inside that it feel you are trapped in the basement of a cargo ship.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This used to be a fantastic sushi place, but over the years the quality of the food got worst.
The service and ambience are also lacking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I started to live in this neighborhood. This is almost authentic Japans sushi place or at least one of the better outside Japan. You can eat unlimited or by weight. Fish is fresh and good quality. (ps. I also know the neighborhood Liberdade and I also visited Japan, so I know what how it should be ;-) )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a Teishoku, which was fair and well proportioned. Now I am waiting for full vaccination to be established, so that they can reopen their 5 star buffet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it is hard to stay faithful to one restaurant in a city like SP where the offer is so abundant. so the desire to try new places is overwhelming: and many are the deceptions.
so I should go back to this traditional -in the best way- japanese house with the frequency that it deserves. I had in the past truly amazing experiences with the most exotic food ever in the menu a la carte: I will never forget the crab brain sushi I had. and the prices too. but worth every penny. this is the kind of restaurant where you could even find fugu.
more recently they began to offer a buffet of japanese hot food and raw food, which I usually loath, but I have to say it is above average. a more daily, domestic and affordable experience than the stratospheric heights the menu a la carte can reach.
the service is very kind and competent: the principal salon, where the sushi bar is located, is good. the other, where the buffet is located, is ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hideki is my favorite Japanese restaurant in the whole city, and in a city like São Paulo this is something!! The food is great, the ingredients are really fresh and Hideki-san prepares and serves food that come from the heart, the traditional way our "ojisans"(grandfathers) and "batians" (grandmothers) used to prepare us during holidays and sunday lunches.
The menu is filled with almost all traditional plates, from Sukiyaki (yes, the real one, cooked on the table!) to teishokus, domburis and the very fresh sashimi fishes, it would be impossible to find someone who won't find something they like and be amazed when served.
We are the third generation in our families to enjoy Hideki-san's couisine and we hope he has energy and disposition to keep the restaurant going for the next generations to come!
