Quite busy, so make sure to get a reservation in early.
Limited selection of white wine was rather inconvenient, but the quality of the sushi made up for it :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do Culinária Japonesa is a typical example of a sushi place in the upscale parts of São Paulo. But I think the similarities to other places probably end there. I was greeted by two English speaking chefs - Leonardo and Caio. They were friendly despite heavt lunch traffic in the restaurant. They checked in on me seceral times to know if I had everything I wanted and needed. The food was filling and quite tasty. I chose the place because it was the highest rated restaurant in the vicinity of where I was working and boy was I right to have chosen them! It is slightly on the expensive side but I'd say the food and the experience with th. Chefs was worth it. I'm not sure whether everyone gets the same reception. I mean, I was the only non-Brazilian in the entire restaurant, so it would make sense for them to be nice to me. Anyway... They were worth the 4.6 they had on Google and they're worth it now! I até think. DO Combinado plate along with a misoshiro and water. I'd say it is a place for more than one lunch for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best sushi in Sao Paulo....I adore sushi and have eaten and many of the best around the city. Nothing compares to Do in Jardins. Put yourself in the hands of the chef and waiter and ask them to make a special plate of what they recommend.....you will not be disappointed - promise

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant came highly recommended by a good friend of mine and while being my first visit to Sao Paulo I had to go try it. The food was delicious and service was exceptional from the entire staff. Special shout out to Chef Leo who helped me with the language barrier.
