★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good quality and very tasty food. Not particularly expensive when considering the location inside the Copacabana Palace Hotel. Very comfortable seating and they even offer a cushion for your back after you are seated. The restaurant was almost deserted when we were there. Service was excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elegant restaurant with a great ambiance inside the famous Copacabana palace.
I will admit I was expecting a little bit more from both the food and service. The bread they brought to the table was delicious. The waiter was very attentive but had to double check ingredients included in the main dishes a couple times - the burrata cheese was of a different consistency than I expected and the pork was a bit dry. It overall was still a good experience, but with all the prestige surrounding the Belmond I was expecting it to have been extraordinary

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great experience it was. A bit disappointing though on the wine list as it didn’t have any Riesling option. We have chosen the “Chef’s Signature” menu which was brilliant from the first course until the last one. When we thought it was about to finish, they brought even more dishes. High lights were their Neapolitan Ragu, Wagyu carpaccio and the Baccala Main. Also at the end, the chef Cassese himself checked on us. FOH and BOH are real stars.

I was honestly ready to be disappointed because we were coming here for a relatives birthday so it wasn't our choice and I figured there would be ZERO vegan options because it's Brazil but boy was I wrong! They had a vegan/veg tasting menu, and every step of the way was just EXQUISITE. I can't describe it with words because you have to come try it yourselves. Every single combination of flavors was just SO well thought out! Compliments to the chef!! From starter, to appetizer, to main, to pre dessert and actual dessert. My mouth is salivating just thinking about. And even thought, ironically, the menu portions look like they can't feed a 2 year old, we left here more than satisfied. Will definitely be back for more!! You have to have this *fine* dining experience.
