★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is perfect. Overlooking a stunning beach with big waves with beds on a hill. The service is A+, we had Reuben and Rodrigo as our waiters, both were super nice. I’m terms of the food, it was probably the best I’ve had in a while and also during my time in Buzios, immaculate presentation and tastes as good as it looks.

Can’t express what a great place this is!
We found Rocka by accident while at Silk next door for the beds but wanted different food.
One look at Rocka’s menu and I had a good feeling, then spoke to the manager Ruben who spoke great English (as did all staff, along with all other major European languages) and thankfully he convinced us to dine there.
While the menu sounded good, the execution was even better and the service was exceptional and super friendly. Easily the best food I’ve ever had at a beach and one of the most impressive meals I’ve had period, no exaggeration because we returned 2 days later and were just as happy!
It was the winter menu, and we had a beautiful scallop tiradito dish, octopus carpaccio, fresh catch of the day and pork belly, and it was a great change from the typical meat & seafood options in town (which were also high quality). Then 2nd trip was fresh oysters, grilled lobster (cooked PERFECTLY) and another fresh catch. Everything just seemed more innovative, beautifully presented, super fresh and high quality. While we were there (August, technically winter) they had FREE sun beds when consuming, great caipirinhas and cocktails. For 2 people drinks, starters, main courses and a shared dessert we paid ~400 R$, which is more than reasonable for food of this quality!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place! The service was great, took a bit long but it closed at 6 and we got there around 5:15 for dessert. It was delectable! The second best dessert I have ever had EVER!! I didn’t like my cocktail but my friends loved their desserts too. Can’t wait to come back for late lunch/early dinner again. The view is also captivating.

He was incredibly kind and attentive and provided great suggestions from the menu. Buzios left a special place in our heart and so did this place. We can’t wait to be back. Highly recommend! A day at Rocka equals pleasing all human senses, the views of this amazing sea that recalls a beach in costa brava are entertaining, nourishing the soul and make you feel a step above paradise.
The service is knowledgeable, attentive, professional.
The food experience is one a kind mastered by the Argentinian chef owner that created Rocka.
A true rock in the kitchen!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rocka is truly exceptional. The delicious dishes are beautifully presented and made with super fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service is simply impeccable. I was seated at one of the very comfortable lounge beds overlooking the beach, where I can hear the waves crashing and take dips with the sea turtle in between my multi-coursed lunch. Ah~ la dolce vita!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is nice, but the prices are quite high, so make sure to check the menu before deciding to eat there!
The main reason for the low rating is because we waited around 40-50 minutes for a chacuterie and cheese board. Besides the toasted bread, nothing was made in the moment, so the waiting time is unacceptably long. The quality of the food was ok, but nothing special for the price.
So, unless you are prepared to spend serious money and time for your lunch/dinner, I would not recommend this place.
