★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se você quer fazer design ou decoração, procure um lugar com melhor estrutura. A grande vantagem daqui é o contato artístico muito mais do que em qualquer outro lugar, mas também te deixam muito solto a ponto de você ser um formando sem saber o que fazer da vida.
If you want to design or decoration, look for a place with better structure. The big advantage here is the artistic touch much more than anywhere else, but also leave you too loose to the point of you being a student without knowing what to do in life.

I love EBA. My training school. I saw a comment that you leave unprepared. But I don't know any place that prepares you 100%. Graduation or any other course or training only shows us the paths. Walking is up to us. I have always been and am passionate about EBA.

Passou a ser denominada Escola de Belas Artes da Bahia em 1891, por força da Reforma do Ensino Secundário e Superior da República feita por Benjamin Constant. É a segunda Escola Superior da Bahia e a segunda Escola de Artes do Brasil. Em dezembro de 1948 passou a integrar a então instituída Universidade da Bahia. Atua nos eixos acadêmicos de Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão e está subordinada ao Estatuto e Regimento Geral da Universidade Federal da Bahia – UFBA.
A Escola de Belas Artes oferece quatro cursos de graduação. São três bacharelados – Artes Plásticas, Design e Superior em Decoração – e uma licenciatura em Desenho e Plástica. Atende alunos de pós-graduação nos cursos de Mestrado, Doutorado e Especialização em Arte Educação. Localizada no Campus do Canela, tem sede com casarão do século XIX, casarão da Galeria Cañizares, pavilhões de aulas, laboratórios e áreas do entorno. Foi tombada pelo INSTITUTO DO PATRIMÔNIO ARTÍSTICO E CULTURAL DA BAHIA por meio da LEI Nº 8.895 de 16 de Dezembro de 2003 e pelo Decreto de Tombamento nº 8722, de 05 de Novembro de 2003, quando a EBA passa a ser considerada Patrimônio Cultural da Bahia.
The Academia de Belas Artes da Bahia was founded on December 17, 1877. It was renamed Escola de Belas Artes da Bahia in 1891, as a result of the Reform of Secondary and Higher Education in the Republic by Benjamin Constant. It is the second Higher School in Bahia and the second School of Arts in Brazil. In December 1948, he joined the then-established University of Bahia. It works in the academic axes of Teaching, Research and Extension and is subject to the Statute and General Regulations of the Federal University of Bahia – UFBA.
The School of Fine Arts offers four degree courses. There are three bachelor's degrees – Plastic Arts, Design and Superior in Decoration – and a degree in Drawing and Plastics. It serves graduate students in the Master's, Doctoral and Specialization courses in Art Education. Located on Campus do Canela, it is headquartered with a 19th-century mansion, a mansion from the Galeria Cañizares, class pavilions, laboratories and surrounding areas. It was listed by the INSTITUTO DO PATRIMÔNIO ARTÍSTICO E CULTURAL DA BAHIA through LAW No. 8,895 of December 16, 2003 and by Decree of Listing No. 8722, of November 5, 2003, when the EBA becomes considered Cultural Heritage of Bahia.
