★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pouca gente se liga, mas a Ypê é uma sorveteria (está no nome) e um dos melhores sorvetes deles é o de pistache.
Tem um excelente hambúrguer, com carne própria, mais baixa e longe dos sanduíches gourmet que estão espalhados.
Experimente também as fritas e maionese própria.
Few people care, but Ypê is an ice cream parlor (it's in the name) and one of their best ice creams is pistachio.
It has an excellent hamburger, with its own meat, lower and far from the gourmet sandwiches that are spread out.
Also try the fries and mayonnaise itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na Terra da Garoa é só sair um solzinho que a gente já fica assim. E se eu te falar que esse sorvetinho é preparado de uma forma bem tradicional em uma máquina que já tem mais de 70 anos? Naquela época SP ainda era mesmo a Terra da Garoa mas pelo visto não dispensava um sorvete. Há quem diga que no começo a Ypê era somente uma sorveteria e depois se transformou em lanchonete também. Há quem diga que ela é mais antiga que o metrô Ana Rosa, hoje seu vizinho e deve ser mesmo. Desde os anos 70 o paulistano passa por aqui para se refrescar com os sorvetes de tipo italiano. Ainda há quem venha pelos pratos de comida bem econômico e bem feitos ou mais no fim da tarde para uma cervejinha. Eu, além do tradicional sorvete fui atraída pelo lanche também. Bem servido é pouco: é uma baita refeição. Fui de cheeseburger simples e não me arrependi. Hambúrguer muito saboroso e uma maionese divina. Ele me lembrou demais uma de minhas lanchonetes favoritas (o hambúrguer do Oswaldo lá no Ipiranga). Não é igual não, não tem o molho de tomate, por exemplo, mas lembra demais no sabor! Virou uma agora uma de minhas lanchonetes favoritas também ? Para sorvete escolhi o de nozes que vem naquela casquinha deliciosa! A lanchonete é bem simples e comi meu lanche no balcão. Adoro refeições no balcão onde é possível trocar ideias com as pessoas que trabalham no local. Ali no caso são 40 anos de serviço no mesmo lugar: todos os garçons são da época e isso é muito bacana.

He reminded me too much of one of my favorite eateries (Oswaldo's hamburger in Ipiranga). Not the same, no tomato sauce, for example, but too reminiscent of flavor! Now it's one of my favorite snack bars too ? For ice cream I chose the nutty one that comes in that delicious cone! The diner is very simple and I ate my snack at the counter. I love dining at the counter where you can exchange ideas with the people who work there. In the case there are 40 years of service in the same place: all the waiters are of the time and this is very cool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O atendimento é muito bom, os atendentes são super atenciosos e rápidos. A porção batata frita já vem com maionese no prato. A carne do lanche estava super macia e gostosa. Aceita o vale refeição.
The service is very good, the attendants are super attentive and fast. The fried potato portion comes with mayonnaise on the plate. The meat in the snack was super tender and delicious. Accepts the meal voucher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lugar simples, mas maravilhoso, não dá para dar menos do que 5 estrelas. Excelente atendimento, rápido e organizado. Porção de batata já vem com maionese caseira, lanche bem preparado carne que lembra um “smash”, alface e tomate super frescos. Recomendo fritas, x-salada e coca na garrafa de vidro.
Simple but wonderful place, you can't give less than 5 stars. Excellent service, fast and organized. Potato portion comes with homemade mayonnaise, well-prepared snack meat that resembles a “smash”, super fresh lettuce and tomato. I recommend fries, x-salad and coke in the glass bottle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice place to have a cold beer and eat a fast meal with friends it's cozy and have many options on the menu, friendly staff which makes it even cozier though they say they have Italian gelato but it's far from a good gelato and the things are pretty pricey there.
