Good location, volunteers Havi and Kadu are exceptional super receptive, always looking to provide the best. Close to markets, pharmacy and other shops in addition to being close to the Center. There are problems like everywhere, there are some points to be seen there, but the service and commitment of the volunteers outweigh the negative points. Impeccable cleanliness, two bathrooms, the rooms all organized and very clean, it is possible to follow the team's routine when you spend the day with them. Everything turned out perfect the way I planned. Gratitude to the hostel for each experience, and for each volunteer's dedicated time.

Hostel is a place to live the collective, always new, new stories, new friendships and learning new cultures. All this appears in this special corner called Tie with its attentive and welcoming reception. I stayed with my daughter in the tent and we watched some of the volunteer boys' work. In addition to being very polite, they are dedicated, charismatic and do everything possible to offer the best to their guests. They leave everything clean, and take great care of the environment to welcome everyone. Wifi inside the house and in the camping area as well. The place is also great so I recommend it to everyone. I really enjoyed my stay and the staff who are volunteers and taking such care of the place.

A cama Teflon é horrível.
Here is my review on booking: To say the place is terrible is a compliment! The campsite is abandoned by the owner, leaving him with only a few responsible people who do not take care of the place. I've been to this campsite again and it's totally different. Different enough for me to NEVER GO BACK. The Teflon bed is awful. The tents smell of sweat. The camping site is so poorly maintained that, even if I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to put my tent somewhere, due to the amount of weeds there. The house is completely disorganized and completely dirty. As a backpacker at Volta Pangeia, responsible for bringing content to the internet, I will make it very clear to my audience that this is one of the worst places to stay in Ubatuba, as I don't want anyone to come across what I came across. I emphasize that I decided to lose 400 reais, invested in this place, than to stay there. I almost missed my trip because of it. Another observation: the "Teflon bed" is a cloth placed on top of pallets.

Fleas! I think here the horrible and misleading service was a blessing in disguise because it saved us from an even worse date: the apparently flea-ridden tents. We were told there was free public parking nearby so we rented a car. That free public parking was actually the road... otherwiseknown as no parking on-site. So when we got there we were already a bit miffed. This did not improve when the only person there working, despite his good intentions, had only been there a month (there being the city) and had no idea what to do. He agreed it was not a great situation. Two hours went by. No response from owner (who lives in São Paulo). No response from manager, who is unreachable and was only supposed to pop into town "for a bit." When she returns, she shrugs, shows us some fine print on the site, and essentially says "buyer beware. Read the fine print." While in conference at the entrance deciding what to do, another guest sees our predicament and asks if we were to stay in the tents. We sure were. Don't bother, she says. There are fleas there! We have no way of knowing if there actually were fleas there but in hindsight, the dog at the hostel did seem to be scratching himself a bit more than average... As I said, blessing in disguise. We hightailed it out of there. Avoid avoid avoid!
