 Good place but they are not like the others that let silly things pass. They take it literally to review with the original item, so to avoid the risk of being disapproved, it pays to do it elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nunca mais faço vistoria nesse lugar. Levei meu carro usado em perfeitas condições de uso. Como não acharam nada, colocaram na vistoria que a placa era antiga e deveria ser trocada. Só depois fui saber que a placa só poderia ser trocada se houvesse danos ou mudar de município, mas como constava na vistoria, fui obrigado a gastar 190 rodas além da documentação.
I'll never check this place again. I took my used car in perfect working condition. As they found nothing, they put it in the inspection that the plate was old and should be replaced. Only later did I find out that the license plate could only be changed if there was damage or if there was a change of municipality, but as stated in the inspection, I was forced to spend 190 wheels in addition to the documentation.

Attentive, honest and agile professionals (it took about half an hour to carry out the inspection). I just think they could prepare a more complete and detailed report. Anyway, everything went well with the Detran.
