★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ficamos na Cabana Toca do Macaco e foi uma experiência única. É uma casa suspensa toda toda de madeira e equipada com frigobar, microondas e utensílios, mas o diferencial é o mirante privativo com vista para o mar. A Mata encantada é o nome perfeito, pois as acomodações são em meio a mata nativa e preservada. A Pousada tem uma linda piscina e acesso a praia semi deserta. É oferecido cadeiras de praia para o uso dos hóspedes.
O café da manhã é bem caseiro, cheio pães, bolos e iogurte feito pela proprietária (me esqueci o nome dela) que tem olhos azuis lindos e uma boa prosa. O Uile também é muito gentil e atencioso.
 We stayed at Cabana Toca do Macaco and it was a unique experience. It is a suspended house made entirely of wood and equipped with a minibar, microwave and utensils, but the difference is the private gazebo overlooking the sea. The enchanted forest is the perfect name, as the accommodations are in the middle of native and preserved forest. The Inn has a beautiful swimming pool and access to a semi deserted beach. Beach chairs are provided for guests to use.
The breakfast is very homemade, full of breads, cakes and yogurt made by the owner (I forget her name) who has beautiful blue eyes and good prose. Uile is also very kind and considerate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visitei o Village Mata Encantada no reveillón de 2020-2021. Eu e meu marido gostamos tanto que resolvemos levar toda a família para celebrar a chegada de 2022. Eu e meu marido ficamos na casa na árvore com vista para o mar e minha família ficou na Casa Onça. A experiência, assim como da primeira vez, foi excepcional. Santo André é um lugar muito família, tranquilo, para quem quer descansar e curtir a natureza - se você quer badalar, vá para Trancoso. Há inúmeras opções de bons restaurantes nas redondezas da pousada e vc não precisará dividir a praia com vizinhos barulhentos. Aliás, uma das coisas que mais gostamos na Mata Encantada é que o único som é o das ondas do mar, dos pássaros e micos. A música ambiente é a da natureza.
As instalações são ótimas. A cama é gostosa, a internet é de excelente qualidade, o chuveiro é gostoso e os donos, Ueli e Mayo, são uma simpatia só. Pela manhã, o café tem uma série de itens caseiros, preparados pela própria Mayo. A piscina da pousada é super convidativa e gostosa. Minha sobrinha de 5 anos passava o dia alternando entre a piscina e o mar que fica em frente à pousada. Quando avisamos que precisaríamos ir embora, ela disse que queria morar lá. Todos nós fomos embora planejando o retorno.

I visited the Village Mata Encantada on the 2020-2021 New Year. My husband and I enjoyed it so much that we decided to take the whole family to celebrate the arrival of 2022. My husband and I stayed in the tree house overlooking the sea and my family stayed at Casa Onça. The experience, just like the first time, was exceptional. Santo André is a very family place, quiet, for those who want to relax and enjoy nature - if you want to party, go to Trancoso. There are numerous options for good restaurants in the vicinity of the inn and you won't need to share the beach with noisy neighbors. In fact, one of the things we like most about Mata Encantada is that the only sound is the waves of the sea, birds and tamarins. The ambient music is that of nature.
The facilities are great. The bed is nice, the internet is of excellent quality, the shower is nice and the owners, Ueli and Mayo, are a sympathy. In the morning, the cafe has a series of homemade items, prepared by Mayo herself. The inn's swimming pool is super inviting and delicious. My 5-year-old niece spent the day alternating between the pool and the sea in front of the inn. When we told her we needed to leave, she said she wanted to live there. We all left planning to return.

Situated in the middle of a natural reserve, Village Mata Encantada offers you a combination of confortable, spacious and clean housing; well preserved, picture postcard nature; a beautiful and deserted beach at your dorsteps and nice and attentive service. If you're looking for relaxation or travel with children, this is the place! The owners are Swiss and you can tell that everything has been build with consideration and to please highest standards. I really have to say that so far I haven't been to a place in Brazil that comes close. Highly recommend it and will definitely try to come back. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can't say enough good things about Mata Encantada. Truly the perfect getaway, combining the beautiful forest with the beach. Ueli and Mayo are the perfect hosts, with a real passion for the property and the guests.
The houses on the property as very clean, well appointed, and just wonderful to relax. It's a very natural and peaceful part of Brazil.
Highly recommended!
