★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to spend the day. I didn't book a stay, but you can go and use their beach facilities during the day as long as your orders at the restaurant/beach bar reach a minimum value. Beautiful, comfortable, and delicious food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful beach resort with stunning views and service. The rooms were colorful and A/C worked well. Daily breakfast buffet offered lots to choose from to start your day. The beach bar food and drink options were substantial and delicious. Lots of space to sit and lay out all on a beautiful beach. Definitely worth the drive down the bumpy dirt road to/from Quadrado where you'll find so many restaurant and shopping options. Be sure to bring Brazilian cash as the convenient ATM never worked the whole time there. There is another ATM but long lines and difficult to use unless you speak Portugese.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family (including noisy toddler) could not have had a more perfect stay at Villas de Trancoso - everything was amazing, from the room decor to the beautiful garden to the delicious food and incredible setting. Within 20mins of arriving the concierge team had set us up with the ideal sequence of amazing dinners and fun activities - they have great taste and made everything relaxing for us. And the hotel's nanny was basically mary poppins - our 2 year old had a blast too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best vacations I have had. The route to get there is super muddy and messy, giving you a headache since it is about an hour and a half drive from Porto Seguro Airport. However, this excluded and serene great-price-value beach-resort is worth it. The staff is super friendly, they gave us a free upgrade upon arrival and were always there to promptly respond to our requests. The food is exquisite and the breakfast buffet is fresh and tasty. Villas de Trancoso has a medium sized pool and a bid setting on the beach with beds and lounge chairs. The drinks on the beach are great and the beach itself is very clean, various local vendors will arrive to the beach selling handmade products.
Boat trips and scheduled horse rides can be organized by one of the staff members. Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again.
side note: the best part was napping in the hammocks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mayra, Mikael, Mateus, Átila, Mano, Gabriela - those are just a few of the names of this incredible staff (it’s just a 10 villas boutique hotel, so that gives you the idea of the staff-guest ratio). They went above and beyond to truly provide the greatest experience of a beach vacation!!! Attention to detail, service and that feeling of being the most important guest in the hotel... that’s just the beginning. The property is beautifully maintained - nothing worse than seeing Instagram prep pics just to see the disappointment of a maintenance-deferred property. Definitely not the case here. Every little piece of this paradise is nurtured and watered to preserve its immense beauty. Truth is pictures online don’t do justice.
Thanks Villa Trancoso, specially Maira, the concierge - she shared all her knowledge with me and made sure every step of the way that everything in my itinerary went smooth.
I will be coming back time and time again

Beautiful beach, warm water, great food, great value for your money, what else can you ask for?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful beach hotel. The gardens, grass and all green areas are picture perfect. The staff will do anything to make you feel satisfied and comfortable. The villa I stayed in was big, comfortable and close to the restaurant, pool and beach. The bed was super comfortable. Big bathroom and great shower. Linens were luxurious. The restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious and the menu had a good variety of appetizers and entrées. Great drinks. Breakfast was great. Fair price too. The service was excellent. Friendly and attentive staff. Access to the beach is a few meters from the restaurant. The pool is part of the restaurant area and was always warm. The beach is beautiful. I just laid down on one of the beach palapas and drank gin and tonics all day. Great and friendly beach service. For the location, quality and price it is the best hotel and restaurant in Trancoso, hands down. When I go back to Trancoso I will definitely stay at Villas.
