★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You need to schedule an appointment to be received by the technician that will try to fix your broken gadget. And this is done by using an app in your broken gadget... does it make any sense to you?
If Steve Jobs was still alive he would certainly not accept such a procedure: Apple became a great company because it succeded in making people's lifes easier, not more difficult and annoying.
By the way, do you know why you need to schedule an appointment? Because otherwise there would be long lines of unhappy Apple sheeps waiting for their turn to leave their gadgets to be repaired. And that would be negative to the false image that Apple stuff does not break.
Think about Android next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst customer service ever. Don't wast your time calling because you will never be pickled up. And also don't even try to schedule a "Genius Bar" because they never have a schedule. Depending on the problem (for instance to replace a broken screen) the only alternative is to try the above methods. So you are in a chicken-egg problem. Don't expect to receive the same courtesy and quality that you would receive in a real Apple Store. Because this one is not other than a joke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a lightning cable that stopped working in a week, in another store (a "premium reseller") that refused to replace the cable (hint: avoid "premium resellers"). So I went to this one, which is the official one (not a representative) and after waiting for about an hour (huge line), they replaced the cable. Except for the long wait, I received good service here.
