★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great! It's open late, and serves food into the night. The food is reasonably priced (filé de peixe, omelete, etc...), avoid the pizzas though, they're disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the food, cheap drinks, and live music of this place. There are gluten-free and vegetarian options. If you're in Rio for Carnaval, you'll be able to see some of the blocos (street parties) from the bar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food for a good price. The portions are perfect. R$ 20 for a pork cutlet meal that's super satisfying. Love the staff who are helpful and patient with all the non-Portuguese speaking tourists. This would be our regular pub if we lived here.
