★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel staff has managed to make mistakes with my reservation twice in 24 hours, forcing me to check out after the first time and find another property in emergency. The manager "on duty" is at the property less than 5 hours a day (would not be there before noon one day, 10am the other day), Staff Would offer an apology, water, or transfer to my other "contingency" hotel. Grounds are otherwise nice, rooms big but far from luxurious - rather dull. I recommend travelers to avoid this place and find much better value in at accommations in Jericoacoara that will beat this place easily when it comes to organization, customer service and design. In shorts: I'm a very regular traveler (150+ nights/year) and this is my worst hotel service experience in 5 years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful rooms. Large pool with solar heated tub. Apartments covered with flowers. The restaurant has great food. Various foods for breakfast. Free towels for the pool/beach. This hotel is situated on the best part of the beach. It's close to the sand dune and has very few rocks. The other end of the beach was very dirty, smelly, and loud. The hotel offers a transfer service for the airport which was excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let me start by saying that the main problem of this hotel is management! It definitely lacks that welcoming feeling. It took close to 30 min to check in. We are a family of four and they weren’t sure which room had a queen and and two singles. They were running back and forth physically checking the rooms. And we were left waiting with two very tired kids. Very inefficient. There was an attitude of not wanting to be helpful. Jeri packs on weekends, so it’s as if the couple of guests during the week don’t matter. Or at least that’s how we felt. The cleaners, waiters and other staff were very courteous and respectful. But front desk and management could care less. At first we got a quote over the phone. When we got to the front desk they were dismissive of the pricing and had to “double check” the rates. Having had a quote from them (but apparently not the front desk).
Room was comfortable with fridge and stove and plenty of places to put your belongings. But dated and showing wear. Wood furniture coming apart, appear to rust and. Just not well finished. Our access card got disconfigured and after them re-configuring it, the lock kept buzzing afterwards. I’ve been to many hotels and I can say that at this price point you do not get what you pay for. On the positive note, it is well located. You walk straight into the main beach. The grounds are well kept and they have a great pool. I say all pools are kids pool but this pool definitely did not have kids in mind as there is no shallow end. The hot tub was broken all throughout our stay. I will not be coming back to this hotel. If you see all the bad reviews, not one is answered. No apology or discount on future stays. This only further proves not only the disdain they have for their guests but any decent customer service in the managing ranks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel and great location, very quiet durind the night. We had a blast at this hotel, we traveled with family (party of 8 people) we stayed in 2 suites with separated rooms for the kids. The hotel has flowers everywhere and it's very well maintenanted, the pool is fantastic, the staff very helpful and friendly, excelent breakfast and very good service at restaurant. I had no issue with our staying. the hotel is close to everything and the rooms are very clean. I would stay there again if I have a chance or would try Essenza hotel (same group). Heitor did an outstand customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Blue Residence has a wonderful location. The hotel’s restaurant is facing the ocean. We are literally 1 minute away from the beach. Eating breakfast with such a great view is amazing too. However, the room itself is a bit old for the price I paid, which is around 850 reais per night. I value the service and communication a lot during my hotel stay. The crew is nice. They clean the room every day. The breakfast crew and the front desk people are friendly and helpful. This hotel isn’t really good at communicating though. First instance, I walked back to my hotel room one evening. I found out the door was flung open, and two hotel maintenance people were doing something in my room without any heads-up. I almost thought they were burglars. They said they are changing the tv for a bigger one, but the thing is they enter my room without any notice, which bothered me a lot. Besides, the bigger tv doesn’t serve its purpose; the channels are limited and the signals are bad. Secondly, they hosted a big party for Porsche and kept the music super loud even past half past midnight. If it is really a good hotel, the hotel would have written a note or a communication to all the guests here to get us prepared. Like “hey we will be very loud and we are terribly sorry for the noise.” But NO, nothing. These communication hiccups made me think twice about this hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at My Blue Residence. Very nice rooms with kitchen and full size refrigerator. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast each day was great. Internet was very good too. This is a much nicer hotel that my Blue Hotel. Worth the extra money. Very quiet at night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a pretty nice hotel. Clean and friendly. I really liked our room. The pool is beautiful.
The downside is the restaurant. The tables are in the sand on the beach. The flies were so bad we abandoned our lunch. We didn't eat there again except for a quick breakfast.
