★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Catedral do Chopp is a very nice bar with lots of drink selections and a very nice atmosphere. The waiters are very helpful and are quick to bring orders. There are 3 floors with varying levels of noise, the lowest one being the most noisy with live music and the topmost being the quieter, from what I've seen. While they have a good chopp selection, their beers are quite expensive and lacking in variety. That does not apply to spirits, which are plentiful. Overall, Catedral do Chopp is a nice bar to hangout with friends for a drink, but be prepared to spend more than you would in an average bar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Double drinks" (2 for 1) offer is very common here. They gave plastic bags for masks (COVID August 2020) and had sanitiser on early table, although they weren't spaced out enough for 2m distance.
We sat out on the balcony where we could hear some traffic and smell some cigarette smoke from the street but it wasn't unpleasant. The downstairs and bathrooms are very nice! The building is beautiful. The staff were attentive.
We had the dadinho de tapioca (fried tapioca) and mini burgers - both very good!
They have a valet service for 10 reais.
Would recommend.
