Instituição de Médica de Saúde Pública, sob administração da Santa Casa BH, que integra o sistema do SUS de Belo Horizonte e região metropolitana.
Para realizar consultas e exames neste local, é necessário o agendamento e encaminhamento, feito através dos Centros de Saúde dos bairros, mediante a consulta com o médico local no posto.
O CEM não possui pronto atendimento, nem pronto socorro. Mas compartilha o mesmo prédio com mais duas instituições de saúde, sendo elas O Ipsemg, que atende aos servidores públicos estaduais; e a outra é a UPA Centro Sul, que presta o serviço de pronto atendimento médico ao público em geral, em urgência e emergência.
Aconselho chegar ao menos com 1 hora de antecedência, em relação ao horário marcado, e buscar informações junto as dois guichês da entrada, um para exames e outro para consultas, para marcar sua presença e ser direcionado para os locais certos para o atendimento.
Do atendimento nos guichês até o atendimento médico, demora em média 2 horas e meia.
Local organizado e limpo, funcionários educados, porém atendimento lento devido ao grande fluxo de pacientes e acompanhantes.
Com todas as ressalvas a parte, continua sendo um dos melhores locais para atendimento no sistema SUS.

CEM does not have emergency services or emergency services. But it shares the same building with two more health institutions, namely O Ipsemg, which serves state civil servants; and the other is UPA Centro Sul, which provides emergency medical care to the general public, in urgency and emergency.
I advise you to arrive at least 1 hour in advance, in relation to the scheduled time, and to seek information from the two ticket windows at the entrance, one for exams and the other for consultations, to mark your presence and be directed to the right places for assistance.
From service at the counters to medical assistance, it takes an average of 2.5 hours.
Organized and clean place, polite staff, but slow service due to the large flow of patients and companions.
With all the reservations aside, it remains one of the best places to serve the SUS system.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ótimo estrutura, paciente e médico humanizado, agendar pelo whatsapp e ou email da instituição, tem banheiro, tem painel, tem fila organizando, funcionários antencioso, boa segurança, rampa acessível, precisa ter paciência. Maioria pela SUS e alguns convênio particular. Recomendo

No 155 não tem vaga, saímos de casa com meu pai com Alzheimer, cirrose hepática, problemas cardiológicos. E agora preciso saber se consigo marcar para o dia mais rápido possível, pois ele precisa trocar o medicamento.

Faz o paciente ir até o consultório com consulta agenda a cerca de dois meses, para simplesmente cancelar a consulta por telefone 15 minutos depois do paciente já estar esperando na porta do consultório. Total descaso. E segundo a acessorista do elevador do Centro de Especialidades do IPSEMG, a referida médica faz isso com frequência com os pacientes e nada acontece com ela. Falta de respeito e compromisso. Pago IPSEMG mensalmente, o mínimo que quero é dignidade no atendimento.
