★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nous avons rencontré Joao Paulo à la sortie du bus en arrivant à 20h à Lençois, qui nous a accostés poliment en nous proposant les services de sa pousada et agence de trekking et d'expéditions.
Nous lui avons fait confiance et n'avons pas été déçus !
Nous avions très peu de temps et avons choisi une journée "1-day trip" en plus d'un trek de deux jours.
L'organisation était impeccable, il a bien pris le temps de nous expliquer les différentes options disponibles, et n'étant pas des trekkeurs confirmés.
Les guides étaient super sympa et compétents, le repas préparé par notre guide Mel pendant le trek était délicieux, en pleine nature, un régal.
Et le déjeuner picnic prévu la journée était fait avec attention et qualité, un luxe !
La pousada propre et fonctionnelle, simple et sobre, le petit déj super avec le personnel accueillant.
Un petit plus pour moi aurait été d'avoir une brochure sous forme de schéma lors de l'explication des treks car la présentation en photo/vidéo à l'oral était parfaite mais un poil compliquée à saisir le soir même avec la fatigue :)

We met Joao Paulo at the exit of the bus arriving at 8 p.m. in Lençois, who politely accosted us by offering us the services of his pousada and trekking and expeditions agency.
We trusted him and were not disappointed!
We had very little time and chose a 1-day trip in addition to a two-day trek.
The organization was impeccable, he took the time to explain the different options available to us, and not being experienced trekkers.
The guides were super friendly and knowledgeable, the meal prepared by our guide Mel during the trek was delicious, surrounded by nature, a treat.
And the picnic lunch planned for the day was done with attention and quality, a luxury!
The clean and functional pousada, simple and sober, the great breakfast with the welcoming staff.
A little extra for me would have been to have a brochure in the form of a diagram when explaining the treks because the oral photo / video presentation was perfect but a bit complicated to grasp the same evening with fatigue :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we arrived in Lençóis we had read a lot about what to see in the Chapada Diamantina but we had no idea how far everything was and how much of the attractions we would be able to visit in 3 days. Then we met Paulo at the bus station on an early morning. Unlike most of the agencies offering tours of the Chapada Diamantina, Paulo listens to you and advices you in a very personal way. You can feel that he knows the place by heart and wants to share his love of his region with the people who trust him and book their tours with his agency. He was able to pull up everything so we could get our own “private 2 persons” tour with Markus, a great guide who speaks English. We ended up visiting exactly what we wanted for the same price we would have paid to be in a more people group planned by another agency. He even gave us some advices to visit the surroundings of Lençóis on our own. We can only recommend you to book a tour with Chapada Trekking Cross as we got so much pleasure wandering around one of the most wonderful places in Brazil.
