★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trevisan is easily the best churrascaria (steak on sword) in Campinas. When you go in, make sure you stay on the left side as you go in. The right side is for people who bring children (Gah!) there is a big play area, but as long as you stay on the left you are safe from the noise. The valets will park your car for you. Its traditionally to tip the valets between 2 and 5 R$. 2 for a normal car. More for a fancy car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is good, but the waiters make you feel a little bit uncomfortable by pushing you to accept drinks and desserts that are not included in the fixed menu. It is normal, that in a brazilian Churrascaría you get invaded by waiters serving meat until you flip your card from green to red. That is completely normal and it's the traditional way of being served in a restaurant like this, but I felt pretty uncomfortable by the way the bartender pushed us to accept different kind of drinks we didn't want. I've been to many Churrascarías in Brazil without feeling harrased like this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favorite steakhouse in Brazil. I've been to more than 10 churrascarias in 4-5 Other cities all over Brazil. This one is the best I've eaten at. The salad bar is amazing. And they've added a made-to-order pasta bar. My favorite thing they serve is the filé com queijo which is filet mignon covered in cheese. It is amazing.
There are a couple of negatives. They were super busy tonight and service was lacking. I needed a new beverage and it took at least 10 minutes to.flag down a waiter. The other negative is that their play area for kids is not too large and is typically unstaffed. That's not usually an issues but tonight it was. The age limit is 6 years old, but tonight a large number of kids much older than 6 barged into there while.my three years old was in there. They were not gentle and they bumped into her quite hard several times making her cry. Our friend talked to a waiter about it. After about 30 minutes a manager and employee finally went over and enforced the age limit.
For a restaurant that well known and that expensive, those two issues are really unacceptable. The only reason I'm leaving my rating at 5 is because the food really is fantastic and every other time we've been there the service has been excellent.
