Parece ser uma interrupção momentânea por conta da pandemia que atinge estabelecimentos para mais de 100 espectadores. O Cine Tupy foi uns dos grandes cinemas comerciais da cidade. Lá eu assisti filme dos trapalhões. Entrou em franca decadência desde o final dos anos 1980. A ambientação psicodélica produzida por Juarez Paraíso foi destruída, restando somente suas colunas. A frequência principal é de trabalhador@s do sexo e seus clientes.
From the last few times I went through Baixa do Sapateiro I realized that it was closed. It seems to be a momentary interruption due to the pandemic that affects establishments for more than 100 spectators. Cine Tupy was one of the big commercial cinemas in the city. There I watched a movie of the bumblers. It went into frank decay since the late 1980s. The psychedelic environment produced by Juarez Paraíso was destroyed, leaving only its columns. The main frequency is sex workers and their customers.
