Best cocktail bar we've visited in Rio. All the cocktails we had were really good. TLV2 was our favorite if you want a more fruity acidic drink with a nice foam. Trans-siberian express was the best if you're looking for a creamy chocolatey drink. Waiter spoke flawless English and they had English menus. No AC. They have an outside area in the shade. It's actually a pretty good spot. There might be mosquitoes at night.

We had a great experience. TLV is a drink unique (tamarind, orange, vodka, ginger foam...) - a must have! The fried calamari was very good too. It would be smart to make a reservation - It was quite crowded. Good staff.

Amazing atmosphere, really nice staff (5 stars for Matheus!), great drinks and a mixed varied of appetizers, sandwiches and main courses. It's worth going and going back once again! Even if your local, definitely take an Uber to get there (very steep hills). They also have a hotel with a few rooms for travelers and people who want to get to experience the area better.

I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about this bar & restaurant. It’s gorgeous. The food is amazing and was easily the best we had while in Rio. I highly recommend the Blue Grotto Crunch. It’s light and the blue cheese is soft and light, words I never thought I would use. A lot of the staff are multilingual and extremely happy to explain any of the cocktails and food. It’s easy to miss the entrance to this fun little bar. Up the hill and on the right, it’s steep so maybe leave the heels at home!!

This bar is wonderful if not very well hidden. It's up a very steep hill so accessibility may be a slight struggle for some but it is worth it. We had planned on just drinks before heading off elsewhere for food but due to a sudden downpour we were stuck. This turned out to be a happy accident as the food is gorgeous and well priced. We shared the Blue Grotto Crunch and Satay Chicken. The pumpkin confit on the crunch is incredible and the chicken was tender and full of taste. We then had separate deserts, both of which are divine. The atmosphere here is incredibly relaxed in a lush green setting. The staff are very friendly and the service is brilliant. If you visit Santa Teresa, stopping off at this wonderful establishment is a must.

Perched on the side of the hill, this was our local watering hole when we stayed in Santa Teresa. Cool vibe, awesome outdoor set up and an amazing range of cocktails which are even more delicious during happy hour. The food was also on par - delicious and fairly priced. The staff are super nice and most were bilingual - perfeito

We had some excellent drinks created by Gabriella. We asked her to improvise one of the rounds, and she came up with a unique cocktail based on a homemade wood-flavored liquor. My favorite drink was the cashew-flavored Cajueiro da Praia. Definitely the best cocktails we had in Rio.
