Devido a um trauma (aprofundamento frontal, obstrução dos ossos da via nasal e seios da face infeccionados) decorrentes de um acidente que sofri quando jovem, formou-se um enorme cisto em minha testa (caracterizado como Mucocele) no qual se desenvolveu rapidamente de forma inesperada no começo de 2019 e, em busca de profissionais que pudessem me ajudar com este problema, fui indicado para ir ao Instituto Felippu onde fui muito bem recebido e atendido pelo doutor Alexandre Felippu (Filho) no qual analisando os exames, identificou a urgência de cirurgia mesmo diante da complexidade do caso. Pesquisei sobre os doutores (pai e filho) inclusive com outros médicos da área onde obtive avaliações positivas e que eu poderia ir para a cirurgia na certeza de que seria bem sucedida. Então, em abril de 2019 passei pelo procedimento cirúrgico que por sinal foi bem sucedido graças a Deus. Todas as consultas pós cirúrgicas principalmente as que tive momentos de crises, fui muito bem atendido e sempre sai do consultório devidamente orientado aos cuidados, repouso e medicação.
Parabéns a equipe pela paciência e dedicação, espero poder continuar recebendo todo o apoio e parceria nesta etapa da vida na qual estou passando.

Due to a trauma (frontal deepening, obstruction of the nasal bones and infected sinuses) resulting from an accident that I suffered as a young man, a huge cyst formed on my forehead (characterized as Mucocele) in which it developed rapidly. unexpected in the beginning of 2019 and, in search of professionals who could help me with this problem, I was indicated to go to the Felippu Institute where I was very well received and attended by doctor Alexandre Felippu (Son) in which analyzing the exams, identified the urgency of surgery despite the complexity of the case. I researched doctors (father and son) including other doctors in the area where I obtained positive evaluations and that I could go to surgery in the certainty that I would be successful. Then, in April 2019, I underwent the surgical procedure that by the way was successful thanks to God. All post-surgical consultations, especially those that I had moments of crisis, I was very well attended and always leaves the office properly oriented to care, rest and medication.
Congratulations to the team for their patience and dedication, I hope to continue receiving all the support and partnership in this stage of life that I am going through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conheci o Instituto Felippu em 2020 devido o incômodo que sentia após sair do mar ou piscina e em consulta com o Dr. Alex Felippu fui informada da necessidade se uma cirurgia de timpanoplastia... Segundo ele seria uma cirurgia muito simples e o único risco seria do "buraco" voltar depois de um tempo, mas também era algo difícil de acontecer.
Fiz todos os exames e estando tudo ok agendamos a cirurgia...
No dia da cirurgia (na sala do pré operatório) o Dr. Alex me apresentou o "otorrino especialista da clínica" que seria o responsável por minha cirurgia, o Dr. Marcos. Achei estranho, pois desde a primeira consulta ele (Dr. Alex) era o especialista e responsável pela minha cirurgia...
No dia da alta hospitalar uma medica da clínica foi quem assinou os papéis dando as autorizações necessárias, pois segundo ela o Dr. Alex e Marcos não puderam ir.
Na primeira consulta pós-cirurgica não fui mais atendida pelo Dr Alex, pois o Dr. Marcos se tornou responsável... E então descobrimos que perdi totalmente a audição do meu ouvido direito e ainda "ganhei" um chiado que não pára. Além do mais perdi o paladar, a sensibilidade da minha língua e de parte da orelha!
Meses se passaram e fiz vários exames tanto de imagem quanto audiometria, mas tudo em vão. A última explicação que ouvi (em torno de 10 meses após a cirurgia) é que o tecido que foi usado para fechar o buraco pode ter sido um pouco maior do que deveria e que não é indicado cirurgia corretora, pois a chance de voltar ao que era seria mínima, pois eles iriam explorar o meu ouvido e que a única solução seria usar um aparelho auditivo para redução do chiado.
Hoje 1 ano e 2 meses após a cirurgia a minha audição é quase zero, tanto que se faço um exame de audiometria para trabalhar como atendente telefônico (minha profissão) sou considerada inapta para a função.
Confiei no trabalho da clínica devido muitos comentários do Google, porém infelizmente a experiência que tive foi péssima que acabou afetando minha vida e o meio onde vivo.

On the day of hospital discharge, a doctor from the clinic was the one who signed the papers giving the necessary authorizations, because according to her, Dr. Alex and Marcos could not go.
In the first post-surgical consultation, I was no longer seen by Dr Alex, as Dr. Marcos became responsible... And then we found out that I totally lost the hearing in my right ear and even "gained" a wheezing that doesn't stop. Furthermore, I lost my taste buds, the sensitivity of my tongue and part of my ear!
Months passed and I took several exams, both imaging and audiometry, but all in vain. The last explanation I heard (around 10 months after surgery) is that the tissue that was used to close the hole may have been a little larger than it should have been and that corrective surgery is not indicated, as the chance of getting back to that. was would be minimal as they would explore my ear and the only solution would be to wear a wheezing reduction hearing aid.
Today, 1 year and 2 months after the surgery, my hearing is almost zero, so much so that if I take an audiometry test to work as a telephone attendant (my profession) I am considered unfit for the job.
I trusted the clinic's work due to many Google comments, but unfortunately the experience I had was terrible, which ended up affecting my life and the environment where I live.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conheci o Dr. Alexandre Felippu (pai) em 2015 quando meu filho aos 17 anos foi diagnosticado com Naso-angiofivroma, após várias tentativas negativas de tratamento pelo convênio, o Dr. Emerson Favaro disse que somente o Dr. Alexandre seria capaz de salvar a vida do meu filho, então eu e meu esposo não medimos esforços para conseguir essa consulta e foi o que aconteceu, a história é longa, mas hoje graças a Deus e ao Dr. Alexandre meu filho está bem!
I met Dr. Alexandre Felippu (father) in 2015 when my 17-year-old son was diagnosed with Naso-angiofivroma, after several negative attempts at treatment by the insurance company, Dr. Emerson Favaro said that only Dr. Alexandre would have been able to save my son's life, so my husband and I went out of our way to get this appointment and that's what happened, the story is long, but today thank God and Dr. Alexander my son is fine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marquei uma consulta com um mês de antecedência para hoje às 10h. Cheguei 9h50 e tinha mais um rapaz aguardando a sua consulta. Às 10h05 o rapaz foi chamado e logo em seguida mais um entrou pedindo um encaixe, pois tinha feito uma cirurgia e queria fazer o retorno antes do Carnaval. As recepcionistas pediram para ele aguardar. Às 10h15 perguntei sobre o atraso e me disseram que eu "já era o próximo". Cinco minutos depois, com a minha consulta atrasada, o médico chamou o rapaz do encaixe. Incrédulo o descaso, agradeci as recepcionista e sai sem receber nenhuma satisfação ou pedido de desculpas.
I made an appointment a month in advance for today at 10am. I arrived at 9:50 am and there was another guy waiting for his appointment. At 10:05 am the boy was called and soon after another one came in asking for a fitting, as he had had surgery and wanted to return before Carnival. The receptionists asked him to wait. At 10:15 I asked about the delay and was told that I was "already next". Five minutes later, with my appointment late, the doctor called the fitting boy. Incredulous at the neglect, I thanked the receptionist and left without receiving any satisfaction or apology.
