Is very close to Avenida Paulista and bairro. Liberdade.
The twin room was big and neat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I did a half-day stay here between flights in February 2018. We returned to the Mercure São Paulo Paraíso in March 2019 for a 1.5 day stay. The hotel is in a convenient location, a quick ride-sharing trip to and from both Congonhas-CGH and Guarulhos-GRU airports. It's also down the block from the Paraíso Metrô station, serving both Linhas 1 and 2 of the São Paulo Metrô.
The rooms continue to be modern, bright, and colorful. On our 2018 visit, we didn't have an opportunity to sample the included breakfast due to an early flight hour. However, we were able to enjoy the café da manhã on this trip. It was a basic but enjoyable meal. The original Mina's Gerais-style pão de queijo and the French-style croissants were particularly delicious.
The only negative point from our 2018 visit to the Mercure São Paulo Paraíso, probably not important to some guests, is that the bathroom had neither a bidet or a douche nozzle. However, that has been rectified as of 2019. Our bathrooms did include douche nozzles this time around.
The staff at the Mercure São Paulo Paraíso was especially nice, in particular the young man who is working at the hotel on weekends as a front desk assistant while attending university during the week. He volunteered some recommendations for our brief stay and made the three of us feel very welcome.
On the basis of all of the above, I've raised my rating of the Mercure São Paulo Paraíso from 4-stars to 5-stars. We will be sure to return to this hotel.
