★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food - you can choose a la carte or the kilo restaurant part (buffet). The view is nice. Summary: Excellent ambiente. Safe as well and easy to get there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of a few restaurants around, they have both menu and buffet service. It's a good choice if you're planning visit Sugar Loaf, Claudio Coutinho sideway or Praia Vermelha Beach.
Just in front of the beach, if you're lucky you can enjoy a beautiful view on your lunch time but it is regularly crowded.
The food is good and the service is ok.
There's public parking area at the square in front of it but it is also regularly crowded. You can get there by bike (there's a rental bike station on the square) and bus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful trail between forest and water, great beach. But the military buildings such as the Higher War College are a reminder of how the U.S. helped install authoritarianism in Brazil. If you have any knowledge of the horrors of the dictatorship or what the School of the Americas trained Brazilian mitary to do, it adds a certain pall to the place.
