My review has a single objective, to alert as many people as possible and prevent them from going through the traumatic experience I went through. 9 months ago I went to the Ortobom store at Shopping Iguatemi and after trying the Liberty mattress at the store, I was sure it was exactly what I was looking for, a good mattress, but not too hard. And to my disappointment when I received the mattress it was totally different, of different density, totally hard, the mattress didn't move when I lay on it, it was like lying on the floor. I even went to the store again to make sure my memory wasn't fooling me about the mattress density and I just confirmed what I already knew, THE MATTRESS DISPLAYED IN THE STORE WAS ANOTHER, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. And even if it was due to having been softened over time, the company should ensure that a mattress closer to reality was exposed. The store informed me that they could not exchange, UNLESS I SUGGESTED EXCHANGE FOR THE MOST EXPENSIVE IN STORE, then immediately they changed their mind and accepted to exchange, which I obviously did not accept. At that moment, I realized what the store's attitude was and I did what I should have done before the purchase, I went looking for similar cases on the internet, and to my surprise, the RECLAME AQUI was full of identical complaints, never answered, or then answered with the same standard "wait for softening" response. People who had the same balls for over 1 year and it never softened... Even the salespeople at the store told me to "jump" on top of the mattress to soften. I've waited long enough to be able to say with certainty, and today 8 months after receiving my mattress, I can say with all the letters that this mattress is not going to break in anytime soon, it's still hard. It's one thing to like the hard mattress, another thing is to have to sleep for almost 1 year on a mattress totally different from what you dreamed of. My dream turned into a nightmare with Ortobom, which never showed any interest in solving our problem effectively. For the first few weeks, I had to sleep in the guest room and cried as I tried unsuccessfully to fall asleep on that mattress. After much insistence on our part, they exchanged it for the same mattress model, as they claimed that there was indeed a defect in that batch, and they sent us a mattress exactly the same as the previous one. They promised to send an "expert" to assess it, but no one ever showed up. When I was in other stores of other brands, the sellers tried to warn me that the Ortobom guarantee was a fake, today I see that they were right. Until today we have not had our case analyzed by an expert or anything like that. It's always their word against yours. It's no wonder that the store's nickname on the internet is ORTHOPEDRA. The only reason we didn't sue the store was due to the mental exhaustion and time it would cause us, we had just returned to Brazil after a few years and all we wanted was peace. The only advice I can give you is RESEARCH first and if you really want to buy a mattress from Orthopedra, buy it online because at least you will have the support of the 7 days to return it and you will not have to live with the damage and stress caused, as I do. I'm warning you here online and I will continue to alert everyone I can here in the region about this unit of Shopping Iguatemi and about the brand. It's no use investing in marketing and putting famous people to publicize if they don't care about what really has value, your customer. You are already burned and will be burned more every day with this posture in the middle of 2022, where the customer experience is fundamental.
