★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very beautiful and well kept park by the Governor's mansion in the Laranjeiras neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. If you're traveling with small children, this is a great place to go as they have a playground with swings, slides and see-saws. Lovely to walk in and relax by the pond. Very well guarded and a nice oasis in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a small park around Laranjeiras Palace. It’s worth a visit to a small walk, fresh air, silence and the residence buildings with interesting architecture in front of the area. There is a small plate with explanation about those buildings. You’ll see the locals having relax moments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintained, safe, dog friendly. In terms of pram access the park is split into upper and lower levels, each with park entry/exit points; separated by steps that may require the pram to be carried. There's plenty to see on both sides. Nice duck pond and play areas on the lower end, governor's palace on the upper. In the middle section there is a nice breezy, sandy area dedicated to dogs.
