SOBRE O PARQUE VILLA LOBOS
Em 1989, o parque Villa-Lobos começou a ser implantado pelo Departamento de Águas e Energia Elétrica – DAEE. Foram removidas as famílias que viviam no local, retirados 500 mil m³ de entulho com mais de 1 metro de diâmetro, e movimentados 2 milhões de m³ de entulho e terra para acerto das elevações existentes. O córrego Boaçava, que passava pela área, foi canalizado.
Biblioteca do Parque Villa Lobos
A Biblioteca Parque Villa-Lobos (BVL) é um lugar singular. Além de oferecer livros para empréstimo e ambientes para estudo, como toda biblioteca, a BVL é também uma experiência diferente em leitura, lazer, aprendizado e diversão.
Ocupando área de quatro mil metros quadrados dentro do Parque Villa-Lobos zona oeste da capital paulistana, a BVL prepara, todos os meses, programação cultural diversificada, que reúne atividades de interesse para todos os públicos
Parque Cândido Portinari Villa Lobos
O Parque Cândido Portinari fica bem ao lado do estacionamento principal do parque Villa Lobos.
Interligados por meio de uma praça de lazer, entre as atrações estão uma ciclovia de 1 300 metros, integrada aos 3 500 metros de pista do Villa-Lobos, 940 metros de local para caminhada, uma novíssima pista de skate no estilo plaza (que simula obstáculos urbanos), quatro quadras poliesportivas, um mini campo de futebol e duas quadras de vôlei de areia. O disputado estacionamento também recebe reforço de 640 novas vagas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park is one of the biggest park in the city of São Paulo, it’s near the train station Villa-Lobos, it has great access besides the park has several entrance!
You can take your own bike or rent a bike to have an amazing ride around the park! there are different views and you can definitely take your loving pets to have a walk there. You can also enjoy sitting and watching your kids playing in the kids place.
I absolutely recommend it!!! if you visit São Paulo go to Villa-Lobos park!
