Very bad experience, the pastel came wrong and at the time of the bill I was charged for the pastel that came wrong. So far so good, if the waiter hadn't told us 3x that the wrong pastel would not be charged. Anyway, I don't recommend it. Chicken pie doesn't taste good tbh

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The installations are modest, to say the least. The beer is almost never really cold. But, apart from that, no complaints: this is a hell of a good pastel. I'm a regular, and there's no pastel as good as this one in Rio Vermelho.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The carne seca com banana da terra pastel was very tasty and with a generous amount of filling. Simple pastel place, conveniently located and with pastéis cooked to order. Prices perhaps a bit high at R$12 for a not very large pastel, but seems a fair price given the location and the fillings. A small bottle of Coke added R$4.50 to the bill. Credit cards accepted. As usual in Brazil, don't expect anyone to speak anything but Portuguese. Service friendly and efficient.
