As pessoas gostam de ficar sentadas nos seus bancos para apreciar o movimento da cidade. Aos finais de semana turistas invadem a praça para ver a feira de artesanato entre outras que acontecem sempre neste local. Antigamente o bondinho tinha como saída na praça Mauá. Hoje tem um posto de informações turísticas.
One of the most beautiful squares in the center of Santos. In this square, great events take place here. People like to sit on their benches to enjoy the movement of the city. On weekends, tourists invade the square to see the craft fair, among others that always take place in this place. In the past, the cable car had its exit at Praça Mauá. Today it has a tourist information office.
