★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean, safe. However wish they had world channels In the rooms! Is nice to catch CNN or other world news org. And maybe a US channel as many Americans go to visit there. Just a thought! Didn't spend much time in the room anyway!! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is very nice and happy to deal with us not being able to speak much Portuguese. The rooms have a funny feature where you have to put your key card in a slot next to the door for pretty much any electrical component of the room to work, but it's not hard to get used to. Overall, nice place in a city that seems to have much lower quality expectations than the hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very big room and good facilities! The shower is fantastic, like a massage to your back. The reception service is very amazing too. Only, the breakfast needs some improvement, not so many varieties.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was outstanding. The hosts constantly were going beyond their duty to solve my issues. They helped arrange my Covid 29 test an even helped with airline reservations, not to mention restaurants reservations and recommendations as well. This hotel is in a great location and the operations manager was excellent. Finally, the breakfast fast crew were service oriented and it was very noticeable....I certainly will stay again, as this my third stay at Radisson Hotel Maiorana Belem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful customer service but some, average customer service from others. Also, on two occasions while I was paying for service (the snacks in the room). The hotel representative stated that they did not have change and I felt force to leave the remaining funds with that person. I don't mind tipping but I prefer it's something that I want to do and no force to do. Also, I was a little disappointed with the breakfast selection. But again some of the services and people was beyond outstanding but this wasn't everyone. Also, English speaking personal...learn as much Portuguese as you can before traveling to this location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice service, a few things were off. The windows in my room were worn and cracked. One was difficult to close. The system for the lights requires your door key card. That's not bad, but at one point, even though the key was still working on the door, it refused to operate any of the lights from about 930pm until I left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is ok but the restaurant is a mess. Waiters and the kitchen staff are untrained and they work on their own pase(very slow). I have stayed there times and the service was the same. Be prepared to watch people on your table eating while you wait for your food because they are not organized and their put up others at any other. To sum it up, this hotel's kitchen needs to learn how to serve the guests better because the food is not bad, it's just how the service is delivered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were very friendly and professional, and for the price this hotel is good value. Breakfast was great: abundant, tasty, and varied.
However, the pool and gym are out of use indefinitely (something not mentioned on Hotels.com). Another thing: My fridge was kept well-stocked with bottled water. But this water is not complementary: you are billed for this water on check-out, as part of the "taxes and services" . Nowhere in the room does it say this water is not complementary; nor are guests informed of this by reception. While the cost was not excessive, guests should be informed of this in the interests of disclosure.
