★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The falafel were delicious. We also ordered Chicken Minchui which included delicious homemade butter but the pita bread was drenched in it, ruining that portion of the meal. Overall, the ambience, customer service and the food were great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To be clear this restaurant DOES NOT serve halal meat. I confirmed this by speaking asking 2 members of the staff that work there and both were clear that the meat was not halal. They do have good vegetarian alternatives though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant offers great food a few steps from Copacabana’s beach. I had the vegan plate to share and everything was delicious. Ordered a drink called Marina and this one wasn’t so good but the are many other options to drink. They have belly dance shows at Friday’s, if you around don’t loose the opportunity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m middle eastern and I can honestly say that the food here really good. The owner is friendly and welcoming, the service is perfect. They have an English and Portuguese menu, for tourists. We got the mixed platter and an appetizer for people and couldn’t even finish it all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACED!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hummus, eggplant salat and falafel are simply amazing. I know how hard it is to achieve this exact taste and texture, bravo. It is however very sad that this level could not be maintained through the main dish, grilled chicken with rice, that was simply tasteless and annoyingly boring. The shawarma I tried two days later also didn't really convince me...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place. Good service. Best Arabic food around Rio. Good breads, ok falafel(soft inside and I like it crunchier) decent flavors that don't stand out and but are present. Good portions.
