Há cerca de 1h do Rio, o sub parque tem diversas cachoeiras maravilhosas com trilhas rápidas (de 5 a 15 minutos).
Ótima opção para levar crianças, fazer piqueniques e passar o dia.
Dica:
- o parque abre todos os dias inclusive no domingo
- para entrar é preciso chegar cedo, de preferência até às 9h30. O parque só recebe 500 visitantes por dia e depois que fecha, mesmo que os carros saiam, não é permitida a entrada se outros carros.
 One of the best waterfalls in Rio.
About 1h from Rio, the sub park has several wonderful waterfalls with fast trails (from 5 to 15 minutes).
Great option to take children, have picnics and spend the day.
Tip:
- the park is open every day including Sunday
- to enter you must arrive early, preferably by 9:30 am. The park only receives 500 visitors a day and after it closes, even if cars leave, other cars are not allowed in.

Wonderful place for bathing in waterfalls or walking on the trails, it has parking and restrooms.

Fui em duas cachoeiras maravilhosas. Recomendo o passeio. NÃO É O PARQUE QUE FICA NA ENTRADA DE TERE. ESSE FICA NO INÍCIO DA SUBIDA DA SERRA DE TERESÓPOLIS.
I usually go to Tere, but I confess that I was not interested in the park. To my surprise I found a very well maintained, clean and extremely pleasant place. I went to two wonderful waterfalls. I recommend the tour. IT IS NOT THE PARK THAT IS AT THE ENTRY OF TERE. THIS ONE IS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE RISE OF THE SERRA DE TERESÓPOLIS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pra mim a melhor sede pra quem quer curtir um dia rápido de bate e volta do Rio. Cachoeiras lindas, nunca cheias e com estrutura de banheiros. Os campings eram ótimos, mas sa última vez que fui pareciam interditados e sem uso. O museu do local merecia um tratamento melhor, mas o conteúdo é muito legal e informativo.
For me, the best place for those who want to enjoy a quick day trip to and from Rio. Beautiful waterfalls, never full and with bathrooms. The campsites were great, but the last time I went they seemed closed and unused. The onsite museum deserved better treatment, but the content is really cool and informative.

Trails, exuberant nature, waterfalls with beautiful wells, places for picnics, well-kept bathrooms, camping areas. A very nice place to gather the family outdoors, especially in these pandemic times.

Spent the whole morning chilling at the Poço Verde (there's a cool 'cliff jump' from the big rock by the falls). Later on went to visit the small church from the 18th century.
It costs 32 BRL for foreigners and 16 for Brazilians, the place is well maintained but tricky to get too, don't miss the small road on the GPS and you'll be grand!!
