★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Atendimento espetacular. Tive um probleminha com minha locação mas a solução foi com muita atenção e respeito com o pouco tempo que estava na cidade! A Fernanda, que me atendeu, foi marvailhosa e sentiu o que precisava pra me deixar feliz!
 Spectacular service. I had a little problem with my rental but the solution was with a lot of attention and respect for the little time I was in the city! Fernanda, who attended to me, was wonderful and felt what she needed to make me happy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Essa experiência com a Unidas foi bem ruim. Começou pelo atendimento inicial na retirada do carro. Fiz a reserva para retirar na unidade da Epitácio, o atendimento foi muito ruim. O atendente foi rude, não me deu a opção de escolha do veículo e não fez a oferta para outras categorias.
Loquei um modelo Sandero Hatch, desalinhado, com a suspensão ruim e com várias imperfeições, inclusive uma lanterna quebrada.
Péssimo veículo, não deveria estar disponível para locação.
This experience with Unidas was pretty bad. It started with the initial service when picking up the car. I made the reservation to pick up at the Epitácio unit, the service was very bad. The attendant was rude, didn't give me the option to choose the vehicle and didn't make the offer for other categories.
I rented a Sandero Hatch model, misaligned, with bad suspension and with several imperfections, including a broken headlight.
Terrible vehicle, should not be available for rental.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Experiência péssima! Viajamos com o aluguel já pago e demoramos 2 horas e meia para fazer a retirada do carro na agência. Chegando lá o até dente tenta induzir as pessoas a contratar outro tipo de seguro para baixar o valor do calção de retirada do carro. Se você não compra esse seguro no valor de 210 reais, você tem que deixar um calção no valor de 7 mil reais. Nunca mais alugo carro com a Unidas e recomendo às pessoas a não alugar em se não quiserem passar raiva.
Bad experience! We traveled with the rent already paid and it took us 2 and a half hours to pick up the car at the agency. Arriving there, the even tooth tries to induce people to hire another type of insurance to lower the value of the car withdrawal shorts. If you do not buy this insurance for R$210, you have to leave a pair of shorts worth R$7,000. I will never rent a car with Unidas again and I recommend people not to rent a car if they don't want to be angry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Informo que reservei um carro na Unidas do aeroporto em João Pessoa conforme reserva numero 22870341, para retirada no dia 24 de Fevereiro 2022 as 03:30, porém devido a pandemia a Azul adiantou o meu voo em um dia, cheguei no aeroporto dia 23 as 16:45 hs.
Uma semana antes liguei na Unidas e falei com a Alizandra que iria ter que adiantar a reserva, ela falou com o Gerente Verter e me passaram que estava tudo OK e não haveria nenhum problema.
Acontece que quando cheguei na Unida dia 23 de Fevereiro, fui informado que não havia carro disponível, informei que já havia falado com o gerente ( estava afastado por covid), ninguém sabia do problema, tiveram que ligar várias vezes para o gerente, o atendente depois de muito tempo, informou que estava tudo certo, porém fez uma conta tudo errado do seguro total que eu estava fazendo, tive que mostrar na calculadora que a conta que ele estava fazendo estava errado, nunca vi um seguro total que não cobre rádio, estepe, atena e etc.
Demorei uma hora e meia para conseguir sair com o carro do aeroporto.
Além de que eu pretendia devolver o carro no dia 24 de fevereiro, porém foi tanto problema que me passaram, que eu teria que ir na Unidas da avenida Epitácio Pessoa no dia 23 de Fevereiro e renovar o contrato por mais um dia, que acabei por não fazer essa opção e devolver o carro no dia 23 mesmo.
Devolvi o carro na Unidas da Avenida Epitácio Pessoa e não tive nenhum problema e em 5 minutos a devolução estava concluída.
Portanto o resumo é um só, a Unidas do aeroporto de João Pessoa, está com um atendimento péssimo.
Não volto a alugar carro da Unidas em nenhum estado Brasileiro, e não recomendo para ninguém.

I inform you that I booked a car at Unidas from the airport in João Pessoa according to reservation number 22870341, to be picked up on February 24, 2022 at 3:30 am, but due to the pandemic, Azul advanced my flight by one day, I arrived at the airport on the 23rd at 4:45 pm.
A week before I called Unidas and spoke to Alizandra that she would have to advance the reservation, she spoke to the Verter Manager and they told me that everything was OK and there would be no problem.
It turns out that when I arrived at Unida on February 23, I was informed that there was no car available, I informed that I had already spoken to the manager (I was away due to covid), no one knew about the problem, they had to call the manager several times, the attendant after a long time, he informed that everything was ok, but he made an account all wrong of the total insurance that I was doing, I had to show on the calculator that the account he was doing was wrong, I have never seen a total insurance that does not cover radio, steppe, athena, etc.
It took me an hour and a half to get the car out of the airport.
Besides that I intended to return the car on February 24th, but it was so much trouble that I had to go to Unidas on Avenida Epitácio Pessoa on February 23rd and renew the contract for another day, which I ended up not make this option and return the car on the 23rd.
I returned the car at Unidas on Avenida Epitácio Pessoa and had no problem and in 5 minutes the return was completed.
So the summary is just one, Unidas at João Pessoa airport, has a terrible service.
I will not rent a car from Unidas again in any Brazilian state, and I do not recommend it to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most ridiculous car rental agency I ever attempted to use! I made a reservation to pick up a car at this location online. I came in on the day and hour I marked for the reservation; the employee looked it up on the computer and said that the car is at their airport location & asked if I wanted to pick it up there. I told her that since I didn’t have a car, I had no way to get to the airport, and if I did, I wouldn’t need to rent a car from them. She said it would take an hour for someone to bring the car from their airport location to this store, so I said I would go to lunch and come back in about an hour.
When I came back to pick up the car, I was told that they had not yet left the airport and was asked if I’d like to wait, so I told her absolutely not! I asked if they didn’t have any other car available at this location for rent, and she said that she did (why she did not offer this to me an hour before, I will never know). Even though the car was more expensive, I said I’d take it. When she began the paperwork, she asked me for a credit card for a deposit. I asked her how much was the deposit would be (to know which card I should give her), she told me “R$5,000”!!! I asked her again, just to make sure I was hearing her correctly and she confirmed that they wanted a deposit of five thousand Brazilian Reals. I told her this was ridiculous for a one-day rental and asked to speak to the manager. Not surprisingly, I was told the manager was not in, but I could speak to him the following day. Since I needed the car for the day I reserved it (and not the following day), I suggested that she take her car and put it someplace that it probably wouldn’t fit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been renting cars internationally with Alamo for the past 20 years. My first experience in Brasil was mixed but in total, it was a great experience. It was by far the best price and the rental station is easy to reach as it lies directly on the main road between downtown and the beaches. Who knows Joao Pessoa, is aware how far and difficult it is to reach the airport.
The rental was easy and staff was attentive. I had been served most professionally and friendly by Joana with whom I had contact later when I extended the rental. The car itself was new - 3,500 km on the odometer. I suppose a tin plate was lose as it vibrated at certain revolution levels. Others may find this scary or risky, and I am sure they would have changed the car had I advised accordingly.
Unfortunately, Joana was not present at the return. Although attended by two gentlemen, it took quite a while. In total, my experience was close to perfect and I will definitely return.
