Se forem para a chapada super recomendo que façam o passeio com ele
I went to Vale do Pati with Fernando and another couple and the experience was incredible. Fernando is a great guide, super helpful and attentive, taking care of all the details so that we could enjoy the tour in the best possible way!! If you go to the chapada I highly recommend you take the tour with him

Todas as nossas refeições foram muito boas, adequadas para o momento, assim como nossa estadia. Gratidão ?????
It was three days of an incredible experience. An experience that is not limited to trails, waterfalls, hiking..., but in relationships, exchanges and a lot of experience. Fernando gave us the opportunity to feel and connect with a brilliant and wonderful moment. All our meals were very good, appropriate for the moment, just like our stay. Gratitude ?????

Saí da Chapada dizendo: Não tem pergunta dirigida a Fernando que fique sem resposta, seja no âmbito histórico, ambiental, geológico, sobre a biodiversidade, ele conhece bem, o que agrega muito valor nas trilhas, pois atua também como um professor! I left Chapada saying: There is no question addressed to Fernando that remains unanswered, whether in the historical, environmental, geological scope, on biodiversity, he knows it well, which adds a lot of value to the trails, as he also acts as a teacher! A experiência foi incrível, não só pela beleza do Vale, mas, o Fernando é um ótimo profissional, sempre prestativo para ajudar nas dificuldades, respeita as condições físicas de cada um, tem um vasto conhecimento do Pati, e muita experiência em Trekking. O lanche que ele preparou foi 5 estrelas. Nota10, super recomendo
I did the 5 day Vale do Pati along with 3 other people, Fernando was our guide. The experience was incredible, not only for the beauty of the Valley, but Fernando is a great professional, always helpful to help with difficulties, respects the physical conditions of each one, has a vast knowledge of Pati, and a lot of experience in Trekking. The snack he prepared was 5 stars. Note 10, I highly recommend

He is really knowledgeable about the local wildlife and the history and has a thorough understanding of the trails to allow him to adapt based on weather conditions and hiking ability. I would highly recommend him for anyone who wants to go off the beaten path in Chapada Diamantina!

- The tours that our guide Fernando picked brought us to amazing views within Valle do Pati.
- We stayed in Ingrejinha. Simple & clean place with nice atmosphere and super friendly local hosts.
- The food cooked by Fernando was delicious and diverse.
- The group was small and we were able to bond.
What could have been better:
- I would have liked to learn more about Chapada, the history and the biodiversity. Our guide almost gave no information about that.
- Even though we were told differently, Fernando did not speak good English, which made communication very difficult for me.
- We were told that tennis shoes were fine. But due to rain it really wasn't and led to frustrating and dangerous situations.
- The guide was often times far ahead from the rest of the group which led us being uncertain about the path a couple of times .
Recommendation:
- In rainy times hiking shoes / boots are mandatory!
