★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very good experience in a well cared installation. Cozy rooms, but the breakfast menu could be improved. Very well placed wether you're looking for a REAL Rio de Janeiro night life, into the most bohemian downtown corner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A reasonably priced hotel well located for Lapa. Rooms are adequate for shorter stays but limited if staying longer, no drawers etc for clothes and no stand for suitcase. In general staff friendly if not always immediately responsive to requests, on one occasion took over 24 hours to reboot the TV receiver to resolve a frozen channel. Have also had issues with poor level of cleanliness in room and after reporting it 3 times with no response I gave up. Breakfast is basic but adequate. It has a small fitness room which is a nice to have feature in a hotel of this size. Internet access throughout hotel but could be faster. No car parking at hotel.
