★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had heard gemstones were popular in Brazil, so while in Sao Paulo I did a bit of research. I found this fantastic place via Instagram and saw that Sam Smith (the famous singer) had been here! I had to Uber it over. OMG you will not be disappointed if you're into precious and nonprecious stones, the energy just from walking in almost knocked me back, there is literally every stone imaginable here. The staff were super friendly, given I speak English and were very kind in assisting me. Once I had selected all the stones I wanted (I knew exactly what i was after) they were neatly wrapped up for me. I got back to my hotel as i was leaving for Rio in a few days and realised three tiny stones were missing (easy mistake, as they were so small!) I promptly messaged the store on Instagram, quite irate to be honest, and they calmly came up with a solution for me. A parcel was waiting for me at my Rio hotel as soon as i checked in! Bravo ? have to respect these guys, such professionals! all tourists to Sao Paulo should make time to visit this store, at the very least you will leave feel energised and happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is my go to for any needs for precious gems and carvings in Barra Funda! The quality is amazing and the staff are super friendly (a few speak both Portuguese and English). They have an amazing variety and are always happy to accommodate my requests! 10/10 recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I told my friend I was looking for semi precious stones to give to my son who is making a collection. He told me about LP Minerais. I got so impressed with the size of the store and the variety of stones. Not only from Brazil but from many places in the world.
I end up buying 1.5 kg (3.3lb) of different stones. Many. That made my son's collection double in size.
I bought this powerful christal to my with thay brings good energy. And one stone from Peru that brings wealth. Lol... My best friend now.
If you like stones. This is the place to go.
