★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful colonial town just a few hours from Rio or Sao Paulo. Rich history, beautiful preserved historic center, fantastic cuisine and unforgettable bay, beaches islands and inland waterfalls to explore. Worth at least 3 days of you brazillian trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paraty is one of my favorite cities in Brazil! So beautiful and lots of fun things to do. We took a boat out and visited/swam at several different islands and hiked through the jungle to waterfalls and protected ocean pools. One of the most beautiful places I've been to.

The best place to relax and enjoy good food, nature, ocean, sea, boat, beach, waterfall and belive me: MUCH MORE.
This historical place is perfect to come with friends, family, romantic trip... pretty much has everything to every kind of trip.
It is super pet friend, a lot of night entertainment and hotels from 1 star to a very charming 5 stars hospitality.
Take some time off. Pleasent yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth the detour for a week-end or 3 days trip. A wonderful old Portuguese town with cobbled streets and all white painted homes with different colors around windows and doors. Its churches are of the baroque style. It is fun to go for walks and have cold drinks at the different cafes. The best in evening when there is a lot of love music in bars or open spaces. Boat rides to different islands of the bay are a must and worth the trip. But beware the sun is so in spring/summer so use a lot of sun screen.
